Compressing a contract to email it, turning a payslip into a PDF or merging the exhibits of a claim look like small jobs, yet the files involved often carry names, ID numbers, salaries or health details. When those jobs are done by uploading the document to whichever website comes up first, you lose track of where it ends up. Anonimatum’s PDF tools exist so that routine operations do not quietly become a data transfer nobody has assessed.
Everything is processed on Anonimatum’s own EU servers at OVHcloud, in France and Poland. Office conversions run on LibreOffice on our server and OCR on local engines, Tesseract or PaddleOCR, so no document travels to third-party services or external APIs. Files are processed in memory and returned at once without being stored, and the temporary folders used for conversions are deleted as soon as they finish.
The suite covers everyday work: compress, convert between PDF and Word, Excel, PowerPoint or images, run OCR, merge, split, reorder, rotate or delete pages, number them, add watermarks, password-protect or unlock and sign with a digital certificate. It requires an account, uses your plan’s quota and is backed by Politeia Soft’s ENS Medium category certification. When you are done, you can anonymize the result without leaving the platform.

Our own servers in the EU
Every tool runs on Anonimatum servers in France and Poland (OVHcloud). No third-party services or APIs: LibreOffice and OCR run on our own server.
We don’t keep the document
The PDF is processed in memory and returned straight away. Conversions use a temporary folder that is deleted when they finish.
History under your control
Group activity (operation and file name) is deleted according to the retention your administrator sets, from 1 to 365 days. The audit log only keeps the SHA-256 fingerprint.
Access with your account
You sign in with your Anonimatum account, with two-step verification, and each use is deducted from your plan’s PDF tools quota.
ENS Medium category
Politeia Soft is certified under Spain’s National Security Framework (ENS), Medium category, and the platform is designed for the GDPR.

Where are my documents processed?
On Anonimatum’s own servers in the EU (OVHcloud, France and Poland). Office conversions use LibreOffice on our server and OCR uses local engines (Tesseract or PaddleOCR); nothing goes to third parties or external APIs.
Do you keep a copy of my files?
No. The file is processed in memory and returned immediately. Conversions use a temporary folder that is deleted when they finish. The group history records the operation and file name, and administrators can purge it with the group’s retention setting (1–365 days).
Do I need an account? How is usage counted?
You need an Anonimatum account, with two-step verification available, and the tools use your plan’s PDF tools quota.
How is this different from a general online PDF service?
It is a different focus: Anonimatum is built for documents containing personal data, processed in the EU without third parties, under ENS and alongside the anonymizer. If you are only converting a public document, a general service may be enough; either way, review its terms.
Can I anonymize after processing the PDF?
Yes. The tools sit alongside the anonymizer: merge, convert or reorder, then anonymize or pseudonymize on the same platform.
