Technical tools aligned with GDPR principles
Compliance is not improvised with a blackout mark: it requires minimization, security, purpose limitation and storage control. Anonimatum provides an anonymization and pseudonymization engine in the EU to reduce identifying data before sharing, publishing or archiving.
Processing uses local AI on European infrastructure. Documents are not sent to external LLM APIs. You define patterns, reverse whitelist, batches and human review according to your document types (PDF, Office, ZIP, OCR).
Politeia Soft operates the Anonimatum product. The controller’s responsibility remains yours: the platform enables technical processing; lawful basis and internal procedure are defined in your organization.

Only strictly necessary data is processed. You can define exactly what to anonymize and what to keep—even with a whitelist in reverse mode when almost everything must be hidden.
Security and confidentiality
All data is processed on European Union servers. We do not rely on external LLM APIs: the engine is local to the controlled environment.
Purpose limitation
Your documents are used only to anonymize them. They are not used for other purposes or to train models outside your engagement.
Storage limitation
Documents are deleted after processing. You decide when and how results are retained under your retention policy.

Does Anonimatum alone guarantee GDPR compliance?
No. It is a technical tool aligned with minimization, security and purpose limitation. Compliance depends on your lawful basis, data types and internal procedure.
Are documents sent to external AI APIs?
No. The Anonimatum engine processes with local AI in the European Union, without relying on uncontrolled external LLM APIs.
Can I apply minimization with a whitelist?
Yes. Reverse mode lets you define what must remain visible and mask the rest, aligned with the minimization principle.
What happens to files after processing?
Documents are deleted after processing by design of the service. You decide retention of anonymized results in your organization.
