Extract pages from a PDF
Pick the pages you need from the thumbnails and pull them into a new PDF, without changing the original or sending it to third-party services.
Often you do not need the whole document, just a slice of it: the judgment without its annexes, the two contract pages a client asked for, or one medical report buried in a hundred-page record. Extracting pages lets you share what is strictly necessary and keep the rest. It is easier for the recipient, and it is also data minimization in practice: the less you send, the less personal information travels outside your organization.
Because those documents tend to carry personal data, where they are cut matters. In Anonimatum the PDF is processed in memory on our own EU servers (OVHcloud, in France and Poland) and returned straight away without being stored. It never passes through third-party services or external APIs. The group history only keeps the operation and file name, and administrators can purge it according to the group’s retention period, from 1 to 365 days.
The tool is visual: you see the thumbnails, mark the pages you want and get a new PDF. If you would rather break the document into several files, the same tool splits it. And if the extracted pages still contain names, ID numbers or addresses, you can anonymize or pseudonymize them next on the same platform, backed by Politeia Soft’s certification under Spain’s National Security Framework (ENS), Medium category.

Sign in at app.anonimatum.com and go to the “PDF tools” menu.

Security
Your PDFs never leave our servers in the EU
The same safeguards as the anonymizer, also for merging, converting or compressing.
Our own servers in the EU
Every tool runs on Anonimatum servers in France and Poland (OVHcloud). No third-party services or APIs: LibreOffice and OCR run on our own server.
We don’t keep the document
The PDF is processed in memory and returned straight away. Conversions use a temporary folder that is deleted when they finish.
History under your control
Group activity (operation and file name) is deleted according to the retention your administrator sets, from 1 to 365 days. The audit log only keeps the SHA-256 fingerprint.
Access with your account
You sign in with your Anonimatum account, with two-step verification, and each use is deducted from your plan’s PDF tools quota.

Politeia Soft is certified under Spain’s National Security Framework (ENS), Medium category, and the platform is designed for the GDPR.

Does it change my original PDF?
No. The tool creates a new PDF with the selected pages; your original file stays exactly as it was on your device.
What is the difference between extracting and splitting?
Extracting takes the pages you pick into a single new PDF; splitting breaks the document into several files. Both options live in the same tool.
Where is the document processed?
On Anonimatum’s own servers in the EU (OVHcloud, France and Poland). It is never sent to third parties or external APIs: it is processed in memory, returned immediately and not stored.
Do I need an account? Does it use my quota?
