Anonimatum runs in your browser at app.anonimatum.com. Upload a PDF and its own AI models flag names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, IBANs, dates and amounts; scanned pages go through OCR first. You review every suggestion, add anything missing with your own word sets and download a PDF in which the redacted text no longer exists.
Processing happens on EU servers, with no external language model APIs involved, and files are deleted after processing. Outside Spain, Anonimatum Pro costs €19.90 per month or €199 per year, VAT included, and you subscribe online in your browser. In Spain, our sales team prepares a quote for you.

Redacting PDFs online: frequently asked questions
Do I need to install anything?
No. Anonimatum works in the browser at app.anonimatum.com, so you can redact from any computer. A desktop app is available to customers who prefer it, but it is not required.
How is this different from drawing black boxes in a PDF editor?
A box drawn on top usually leaves the text underneath, where it can be selected and copied. Anonimatum removes the text itself and the file metadata, and it finds the data for you instead of relying on you to spot every occurrence.
Where are my files processed?
On servers in the European Union, by Anonimatum's own AI models. No document is sent to an external LLM provider, and files are deleted after processing.
Can I redact Word or Excel files too?
Yes. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OpenDocument files are redacted in their original format, without converting them to PDF first.
