Anonimatum 1.7.0 — Romanian, remove metadata and the equivalence map
Since 1.6.0 you can use Anonimatum in Romanian, sign in with a code, strip hidden file data and reuse an equivalence map on another document.

Anonimatum in Romanian
- You can use the app in Romanian, as well as Spanish, English, Catalan, Galician or Basque.
- Detection of names, dates, phone numbers and amounts also understands Romanian documents.
- Sign-up emails follow the language you chose.
An extra code when you sign in
If you turn on two-step verification, Anonimatum asks for a code after the password. It can arrive by email or come from your authenticator app.
Remove metadata
- Remove metadata strips author, comments or location from PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and photos. Visible text is not anonymised here.
- You can process one file or a compressed folder.
Patterns and lists that are ready to use
- Every account includes a ready-made catalogue of patterns and word lists.
- You can apply those items, but not edit or delete them.
- Creating your own is available from the Corporate plan.
- Pseudonymisation and help building word lists stay on the Enterprise plan.
- PDF tools, including hidden-data removal, are on every plan.
An equivalence map that is easier to read and reuse
- Automatic substitutes read clearly, for example EMAIL_001 or NAME_001, without asterisks or cut-off text.
- You can edit a substitute and the list stays on screen.
- Download the map as JSON, PDF or TXT. PDF and TXT are for reading or printing.
- Only the JSON (or the encrypted file) can restore the original document.
- You can import a JSON from another document. Matching data keeps its substitute: if Telefonica was Movistar, it stays Movistar. Capitals and extra spaces do not matter; accents do (Telefónica and Telefonica are different).
- A substitute already used in the imported map is not given to a different piece of data.
